Important: Haeata has different written home zones for Years 1–8 and Years 9–13.

Check the boundary for your child's year level in the official written enrolment scheme. The written description takes precedence over any map, especially for homes on boundary roads.

How school enrolment zones work

Living inside the zone

Ākonga who live within the applicable school home zone are entitled to enrol, subject to the school's normal enrolment and address-verification requirements.

Living outside the zone

Out-of-zone applications may be considered according to the school's current enrolment scheme and available places. Contact the school to confirm the current process and any dates.

School enrolment home zones and eligibility for school transport assistance are separate matters.

04 / OFFICIAL INFORMATION

Read the Official Enrolment Scheme

Haeata's published enrolment scheme contains separate written boundary descriptions for Years 1–8 and Years 9–13, including important details about individual roads. The written description is authoritative if a map differs. The PDF currently linked from Haeata's website is dated 2022; confirm with the enrolment team that it reflects the current approved scheme, including any subsequent amendments.
