Ōnewa
One of Haeata’s four Ahu
HAEATA COMMUNITY CAMPUS OUR KURA
Four Ahu. One Haeata.
Our four Ahu are groups of ākonga within Haeata. Each has its own name and colour, and together they are part of the wider life of our kura.
THE CONNECTION
Ngā Ahu are our ākonga groups within Haeata. We have four Ahu and these derive from tōka, or rocks. The metaphor of rocks aligns with our Cultural Narrative and the Haeata Curriculum.
Meet Ōnewa, Takawai, Manapou and Pakeho below.
