The Connected project provides, at no cost, wifi access for students from Haeata living within the zone map for the years 2018 - 2021.
In providing this fully funded wifi access these students will have the opportunity to:
reinforce their learning at school in the home environment;
take full advantage of all the opportunities for learning that are available through the Internet; and
enhance their future career and education prospects.
Families / whānau / aiga will have the opportunity to:
engage with and support their children’s learning;
build their own confidence and expertise in using IT;
develop their understanding of the huge potential of the Internet; and
use the Internet for their social and financial benefit.
For support with any part of the connection or finance process come into Puna Waiora (Library) onsite at Haeata during the following times:
Monday: 2:30pm - 4:30pm
